When it comes to our homelessness crisis, we need a comprehensive approach and not an arrest-our-way-out-of-the-problem attitude.

Addressing our housing crisis is urgent, as it will help with both the affordability issues people face as well as moving people off the street and into housing.

We need to bring more independence and transparency to our government.

Everyone deserves to feel safe in their homes and neighborhoods. Unfortunately, in too many communities of CD12, that is not the case.

Our community in particular was deeply impacted by the Aliso Canyon Storage leak and continues to be impacted by escalating wildfires.

Given the industries who have headquarters in CD12, we should be leading the City.

Our city needs to do everything it can to both encourage more multi-modal options of transportation and reduce pedestrian fatalities in Los Angeles.

We need a more public and accountable process for development in our neighborhoods.

We need to start planning now to utilize the Olympics as a north star to more expeditiously work towards enrichment across industry and geography.
